Hello, my name is Eric. I’ve been training dogs professionally for 25+ years. I work with all ages and breeds, and have extensive experience with reactivity issues, aggressive behavior modification, loose leash walking, housebreaking, basic obedience, and more.

Back in 1998 my mother started her home business, Alpha K-9 Academy, having gone to school for it, studying AKC methods, and reading countless books. I was 10 years old at the time, and home schooled, so my days and curriculum from then on consisted of training and caring for anywhere between 5 and 15 dogs at any given time. I continued working with her for many years while I refined my methods, learning through the experience of working with thousands of dogs, comparing different methods, seeing different results, until finally in September of 2020, I started my own business, based on my own methods. I call it Doggy Be Good.
I am currently based in Martinez, CA, and offer private lessons all over the Bay Area.
